Yesterday, I talked about paying a compliment to someone, and today, I did just that. I went to one of my local pizza places and grabbed a couple of slices of pizza for lunch to go, and it was a new place in town. I started chatting it up with the owner's father, who was very sweet and very kind, and I told him I heard about him on Facebook because someone said something nice about him.
So I said to him, after I eat the pizza, I'll take a picture, or you can take a picture of me, and I will be happy to post something online. And he was so thrilled.
So I had him take a picture of me holding the box, and then I said a few words and posted it to Facebook with quite a few people commenting and sharing and liking that post.
So the power of our words, they're so important if you take just a few minutes to go out of your way to say something nice.
